Was already staying in Japan with son but wanted a trip to Hiroshima for one night.. Emailed hotel for directions and got a very quick response in english providing details to hotel from bus station. Get on the number 7 tram outside station and stay on until the train station and it is opposite the station. Had 3 beds in a large room with ensuite. Very clean.Had an Onsen. Next day took the train from station opposite to Miyojima - very easy and well worth visiting. Came back and went round the Hiroshima Museum. Very thought provoking. Did not eat at hotel but would stay there again as location excellent even though using trams which were cheap and easy to use.

The showers and bathrooms were very clean. The front desk clerk was very helpful, especially with giving me directions around Hiroshima. They responded to my emails in good english. I like the western style beds, towels, gowns, slippers, toothbrush provided. Tea and water provided as well. Very clean and comfortable hotel.

I had booked the "Japanese-Style Twin Room" for 2 nights, but the hotel emailed me immediately to say that they were gone, and offered an ordinary "triple" at the same price. Staff were friendly and helpful. No problem holding our luggage, as we had arrived early. My son speaks some Japanese, so I did not try communication in English. Room (triple) was good size (although there were only two of us). Decent view from the narrow balcony. There was a mini fridge. Very close to rail station (one stop from Hiroshima main JR station) and tram terminus. There was a place at the station were we had decent breakfast. I would have no problem staying here again
