The picture of the Ark hotel on the internet didn't do it justice. We didn't have far to travel from the Railroad station to the Ark. Taxi to the Ark was 590 Yen. Walking into the Ark lobby provided a much more majestic view than I expected. The room was tight for three people. The beds were comfortable. The staff was very helpful regarding our travel questions. The public bath on the 11th was splendid.

We stayed at the Ark Hotel in Hiroshima and used it as a base to visit the A-Bomb Dome & Peace Park, watched a Hiroshima Carp baseball game and took a day trip to Miyajima. We were able to walk to the new baseball stadium in 10 minutes, the JR station is 5 minutes away, and the tram stop to the A-Bomb Dome was right around the corner. Very pleasant and clean rooms, excellent bath facility. Excellent breakfast buffet in the morning.

Guests can enjoy the hot spring in the hotel, the hotel is at the walking distance from the central station and easy to take the tram. there are free internet services at the lobby, the room is not large but quite comfortable for tourists. There are 24 hours shop close to the hotel.Very convenient location -- around 10 minutes walk to Hiroshima station. If you wish to take the streetcars the nearest station is only 5 minutes by foot. It is even trivial to walk to tourist destinations like the Peace Park and A-Bomb memorial site, which around 25 minutes away on foot.
