Great staff and a good place to relax but the out door resturant has many food on the menu which can be ordered due to no stock. The view from our room was just amazing. Perfect for those who want a true japanese experience with baths and etc. There was little English spoken at the hotel. I recommend finding somewhere closer to town if you are staying in Miyajimaguchi, or possibly on Miyajima itself. In fact, in retrospect, I would have stayed in Hiroshima and taken a day trip to Miyajima."

"This AKI Grand is about 10 minutes walk from Miyajimguchi Station, but there is a free hotel shuttle that goes from in front of the station. It is a little out of the way BUT it has wonderful views of the Inland Sea and Miyajima island - make sure you get a sea view room. The staff do not speak English very well - this is a hotel that caters to mostly Japanese - but were very helpful. Room was very clean with a wonderful view. There are several restaurants and a coffee shop that that has a terrace. There is also a disco and Japanese Pub and a bath house. Breakfast Buffet was included in the price and had lots of choice - be brave and try the Japanese breakfast! Strongly recommend!"
